Saed Mohummadi, one of our star apprentice Panel Beaters in 3rd year, is fine tunning his skill set and gaining exposure to full repairs, with much of the work undertaken unsupervised. Saed commenced his apprenticeship with Fortress in May 2021.Since commencement Saed quickly built his skill repertoire and theoretical knowledge, and was fast tracked to his 3rd year of his apprenticeship by Dec2022. Currently Saed undertakes
well above and beyond the normal duties/responsibilities of a 3rd year apprentice, working primarily unsupervised, with capability to complete larger, more complex heavy repairs single handedly. Saed meets and exceeds his targets consistently every week and is utilised across the Fortress sites to fill resource shortages of qualified technicians. Saed's progression, going from strength to strength, is best evidenced by his Apprentice Panel Beater of the Year Award. Saed was awarded this for his work ethic, commitment to develop his skills and knowledge, impeccable attendance record and positive attitude. Saed has also received multiple salary increases due to his consistently high standard of performance and has been placed on a production bonus scheme that is normally only available to qualified technicians.
Saed is recognised as our most capable and high performing apprentice across 40 undertaking the program. He is always eager to learn, prides himself on his quality outcomes and strives to produce his best work everyday. He is an excellent role model for our younger, less experienced apprentices. Saed is a refuge, immigrating to Australia in 2013. He displays a humble nature and has much passion for the opportunities provided for him in Australia and especially within the industry. I believe Saed will go far as he has the qualities to progress in the industry, with a background in the trade,he is earmarked for further leadership development.
