Growing our Own - Apprentice to Training Production Manager

Saed has had a remarkable journey in his early career and whilst completing his apprenticeship. Identified as a high performer with great potential, in 2021 Saed was awarded Fortress Apprentice Panel Beater of the Year. By third year Saed was working primarily unsupervised, with capability to undertake complex repairs. Saed continued to exceed targets and build his skill repertoire and in 2023 was nominated as a finalist in the Paint and Panel Body Shop - Young Achiever Awards.

Early this year we celebrated the completion of his apprenticeship. During his apprenticeship Saed has been exposed to various functions resulting in him being a well-rounded, multi skilled graduate from our apprenticeship program.

Fortress is committed to fostering Saed's growth and career aspirations by encouraging him to continue his development. Today Saed was promoted to Production Manager in our Stolen and Recovered site. Under the guidance of our mentors and with the support of our structured Future Leaders Program we are excited to watch Saed grow personally and professionally.
