FORTTALK WITH DYLAN MAIN

From a young age, Dylan developed a passion for cars, particularly import models and V8s. His journey into the collision industry began at his father’s panel shop, where he started as an apprentice. It was there that Dylan's skills began to take shape, setting the foundation for what would become a dedicated and successful career in automotive refinishing.

Now working as a spray painter at Fortress, he excels in the variety of repairs the role offers. Each day brings a new challenge, with no two jobs being the same. Whether it’s a straightforward task or a complex full respray, he takes pride in the work and the opportunity to push his skills to new heights. Dylan explains

At Fortress, we foster a supportive and collaborative environment, Dylan explains "The team here at Crestmead is great to work with, everyone get's along, the team is organised and works together". Dylan is proud of working at Fortress saying "One aspect of Fortress he particularly values is our apprentice program, the extra training and exposure we offer our apprentices is unlike anything I’ve encountered before, and I'm appreciative of how Fortress invests in the growth of all of its people".

Dylan's own career development has been a priority since joining Fortress. Initially, he completed training with Sherwin Williams, and has since undertaken further training that earned him I-Car accreditation. Dylan is always looking for ways to improve, and is focused on progressing within the company, with aspirations of stepping into a leadership role, such as paint foreman or team leader, in the future.

At Fortress, we’re proud to support the career ambitions of our talented team members and look forward to seeing them continue to grow and excel.

If you grow, we grow. If we grow, you grow.
